Worldwide Release
GICE Research group has created the GICE
FaceScan™ which is an advanced biometric facial recognition engine which
can be implemented in many different biometrical applications.
"We have created a new
standard that will allow high speed
(super
ortho-morphic encryption algorithms developed by GICE Research mathematical
engineers) face facial
recognition that has adopted new advanced features that was once held by the
U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) when it adopted its first
biometric facial recognition standard. The original DHS version was designed
to be consistent with international standards for biometrics used in
applications such as travel documents. However our
GICE FaceScan™
engine will now lower entry
costs in implementation" said
Joshua Lee, head of product development at GICE Research a division of GICE
Security Ltd.
The GICE FaceScan™ standard far exceed
those developed by the International Committee for Information Technology
Standards (INCITS), a standards development organization accredited by the
American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The standard (INCITS 385) is
available from INCITS and
ANSI.
